What Is The Typical Life Of A Lcd Tv Pixel?

Posted by lcdtvdeal On October - 20 - 2009

I’ve purchased a 27 inch LCD tv for my bedroom, and in order for it to be centered at the foot of the bed, I need to hang it between two studs. I realize I have to use the studs for the mounts, but is there a type of mount I can buy that will allow me to offset the tv? Thanks!

How To Repair A Lcd Tv Or Just Buy A New One?

Posted by lcdtvdeal On October - 18 - 2009

My LCD TV has some pixels that are not responding. It shows as a blank space at the top of the TV and makes a line going toward the bottom of the TV. It is getting worse. Tried all the other inputs and the dreaded line is just the same? Can it be repaired and at what expense? Any thoughts or other experiences?

I am comparing two products to buy with my Amex points:
Sharp 32″ HDTV AQUOS™ Liquid Crystal Television and the
Sharp 32″ AQUOS™ HD Flat Panel LCD TV
Clearly they are different because they required a significantly different # of points. What’s the difference? Which is better? What are the tradeoffs?

We are looking at either 32, 37 or 42 inch plasma or lcd tv’s. Normally we watch tv at night so which type of tv would have a better picture quality at night. Can anyone recommend some good models?
