I Would like to Connect my LG LCD 32in TV that is in my front room to the computer in my bedroom so that we my occasional watch movies in the front room from the computer. My issue is that it looks like I would have to manually switch the cables every time I do this. How could I make this easier? And with what type of cables? Thanks

Don’t bother. It is utterly impractical to have your computer in one room and the display in another room. You would have to run back and forth to use the keyboard and mouse to control the PC, and long cable runs degrade video signal quality.
If you want to connect your LCD HDTV to a computer, you should have a dedicated HTPC (Home Theater PC) sitting next to the TV on your home theater rack, connected to the HDTV using a DVI-to-HDMI cable (if the computer has DVI), or a standard HDMI cable (if the computer has HDMI).

Hello..do u have just 1 video out on the pc..if yes..then switching cables is about it..a graphics card with s-video, dvi out will take care of the problem..can leave them both hooked up..Hope this helps..
