I’m about to upgrade to an LCD TV. I’ve always had a separate freeview box attached to my TV. Two things:
How does the integrated Freeview work on LCD TVs?
Do I need to set up and pay a subscription to Sky for it, or is it a one off payment (within the price of the TV package when you first buy it) and that’s that, you have access to Freeview for as long as the TV works?

Freeview is Freeview. (and nothing to do with SKy !)
the only difference is that in the LCD you dont see the cable to an external box..
its been pre-fitted inside, and you now only need 1 remote control not two
ALL TV will be digtal Freeview in a few years time, it replaces the Free Analogue TV we have now.. and you dont have a seperate box for that do you ?
Freesat : has two versions and is different
Freesat (BBC/HD) : completely free like Freeview , but comes from the BBC satalite rentals
Freesatfromsky.co.uk : completely free but is the free channels from the sky satalite rentals.
